2024 Annual Parish Meeting

MINUTES OF ANNUAL PARISH MEETING held at The Village Hall, Rectory Road, Coleby on Tuesday 14th May 2024 at 7.00pm

1. Present: Chairman Councillor Barry Earnshaw chaired the meeting

2. Approval of Minutes of Meeting held 9th May 2023: Cllr Jens Pedersen proposed and Councillor Alan Vivian seconded approval of the Minutes. The Minutes of the Meeting of the 9th May 2023 were approved.

3. Matters arising: None

4. Any matters arising from the public: 

The state of the Parish Council Noticeboard on Coronation Crescent was raised. It is in need of repair. Cllr Theresa Brewer and her husband will refurbish on behalf of the Parish Council once the notices regarding the Audit come down.

There is a dying tree on Blind Lane Green and it is dropping large branches. It is dangerous. It has already been inspected by the tree officer from North Kesteven District Council and has been marked for removal. This was so long ago that the mark placed on the tree to identify it has faded completely. The clerk will report this and a second diseased tree on the green to NKDC.

A letter of thanks is to be sent from the Parish Council to the company who provided the refurbishment to the bus shelter and also cleaned the other three shelters.

The dog waste bin on Far Lane had been sited at the bend but has now been moved to a more suitable location.
