MINUTES of ANNUAL PARISH MEETING
held at The Village Hall Rectory Road Coleby on Wednesday 27th May 2026 at 7.00pm
21.46 Present: Councillor Robert Hall chaired the meeting
21.47 Approval of Minutes of Meeting held 6th May 2025: The Minutes of the meeting held on the 6th May 2025 were approved.
21.48 Matters arising: None
21.49 Any Matters from the Public: A number of residents had raised the issue of speeding through the village. Councillor Stott reported that this was a problem on Rectory Road near the school and also along High Street particularly given the amount of parking taking place in the village. The SPID is currently in Harmston. Clerk to see if this can be brought to Coleby. Councillor Carrington advised that the Clerk should contact him with a request for a reduction in the speed limit to 20mph. It will be necessary to ascertain the Archer Survey Data on speeds through the village. Any evidence to reinforce need for speed reduction will assist.
