COLEBY PARISH COUNCIL EXTRAORDINARY MEETING

PRESENT
Cllr Alan Vivian (Vice Chairman), Cllr Graham Brown, Cllr Barry Earnshaw DCllr Marianne Overton, Sue Makinson-Sanders (Clerk)
APOLOGIES: District Cllr Lucille Hagues, Cllr Karen Playford, Cllr Jamie Cartwright, Cllr Andrew Long, Cllr David Knowles.
Cllrs accepted reasons and apologies for absence.
17.18 Viking Way – Grant Application and Maintenance:
100% Grant funding is available for tourism purposes. Cllrs approved that an Expression of Interest Form should be submitted to the Rural Payments Agency for grant funding by the 16th February deadline. Mark Dickinson to be approached to quote for repair work on the footpath to support grant funding application.

Thanks expressed to Lynn Knowles for research in support of an application and to Gerald Needham for his offer of assistance to carry out works when access to land available.
Lincolnshire County Council to be approached if necessary to bridge funding.

Lincolnshire County Council to be advised of Parish Council’s concerns as to safety of users of the Viking Way as LCC responsible for the footpath

17.19 Letter of Support re Conversion of Barn to Cafe at Lodge Farm Heath Road – Cllrs approved the sending of a letter to support.
